ORAFOL — Reusable Event Furniture
KEVMAR developed reusable branded event furniture for ORAFOL so the investment could move away from repeatedly rebuilding custom exhibition stands and into physical display assets designed to be transported, reused and integrated into shell-scheme exhibition spaces.
The Problem
ORAFOL was repeatedly incurring the cost of custom exhibition stand construction for individual events. Much of that spend went into temporary infrastructure that delivered value for the duration of the show but had limited use afterward.
The Constraint
The new solution still had to create a professional branded exhibition presence while being practical to transport, install, store and reuse across different event spaces. It also needed to work within standard shell-scheme exhibition environments rather than depend on a full custom stand build each time.
The Thinking
Don’t rebuild the stand. Reuse the investment.
Instead of asking how to make the next exhibition stand cheaper, KEVMAR changed the question: why rebuild the stand each time? The focus shifted from temporary stand construction to reusable event furniture — assets ORAFOL could own and use repeatedly while allowing the exhibition space itself to remain much simpler.
The Solution
KEVMAR developed and manufactured a family of reusable ORAFOL event furniture and display assets, including branded display plinths, sample counters and illuminated product display units. These elements carry the functionality and visual identity from one event to the next and can be integrated into shell-scheme exhibition spaces.
How It Was Manufactured
A mixed-process product-development and fabrication project combining custom furniture manufacture, display fabrication, branded finishes, glass display elements, lighting and assembly into reusable exhibition assets.
The Result
ORAFOL can now use shell-scheme exhibition space and bring its reusable furniture into the stand rather than commissioning a complete custom stand build for every event. The approach shifts recurring event spend toward reusable assets, reducing the need to repeatedly rebuild the same exhibition environment.
